A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!!!
Thank you to everyone who braved the cold weather and attended the work day at the house site today. The clean up went very well. Most of the first floor has been cleaned up. There is some clean up yet to be done on the second floor. One of the happy surprises - Carrie's wedding rings were found!!!!
Chester, his brother, Simon, and his dad, Kent hope to complete the clean up on Monday. On Thursday, Dan Boman is scheduled to pull down the remaining structure, so it can be disposed of. Thank you again to all who helped and a big thank you to Letha and her family for the delicious hot meal that was served to the workers.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been so kind, generous and loving during this time of need. It is amazing to see how quickly Chester and Carrie have been able to "pick up the pieces" and begin again. This could not have happened if they had not received such generous help from family, friends and neighbors in the community. We are all so very thankful and grateful.
Chester started back to work today and Carrie mentioned that she was able to cook her first "real meal" yesterday. We sincerely thank each one of your for your prayers. Please continue to lift them up as they face the challenges that lay ahead.

We have been asked to create a blog to update everyone on the needs that the Misener's have. Below is a list that Dad sent which mentions needs that they have, as well as things that already have been provided.
If you decide to provide an item, or help out with something, please mention it on the blog. Please do not try to call my parents (Robb and Cathy) or Letha. They have a lot of calls coming in, and this blog will be the most efficient way to get and give information.
Here is the update to date that you may or may not have:

>Clothing for the family is off the needs list – we have enough for now and will request specific items through the blog when the needs are clarified
>household items are needed, but we will post a list on the blog, many items have already been given, some items have not been clarified
>one specific item needed is bunk beds.
>currently the task is sorting through the rubble – kind of tedious, but Chester wants to do this, please comment on the blog if you want to help, leave your name and number.
>Dan Boman is on line to demo – will set a date when the insurance company gives the OK
>are currently investigating whether foundation can be reused or not – expert opinion needed and on the way- more later
> will rebuild, but volunteer labor needs are future – please give your name and number for later contact
>morale is good, but don’t call them if at all possible – their phone and ours (Letha as well) is wall to wall
>replacement school books for the kids are on order
>there will be some specific items needed for the kids, we will post those on the blog PRN
>pray for this effort, we have never been through something like this, but He knows the way, your most important involvement is intercessory prayer
